When we were offered the chance to bring home this stunning import male of Sandra Schmidt's breeding, it was an opportunity we couldn't pass up. Tristan turned out to be everything we hoped he would be, and then went on to far exceed our expectations! His conformation and head are awesome, and his well balanced temperment and manners are simply incredible. Conformation, head type, drive, temperament ... he is all we could ask for in a well rounded Corso.

Without further ado, we Proudly present:

Tristan
110 lbs, 26", Black Brindle Import
FCI Registered
Hip Prelims "Good"

Exceptional Cane Corso Suitor for approved bitches.

Tristan is a wonderful example of the Cane Corso breed. He has ideal conformation to the Italian Standard, and a massive but well-proportioned head. His temperament is incredible. At the pet-store he'll patiently wait while children hug him and hang off his legs, adults are accepted in stride, and at the dog park he has a blast playing with other dogs. His worst vice is thinking he is a lap dog and promptly seating himself in any lap that happens to be available! Tristan is a very high drive Cane Corso. Always energetic and playful, Tris is the one usually initiating playtime with the other dogs, but at the same time he is sweet and gentle with "his" people. Until he has been introduced to someone though, he takes his job of guarding and protecting his "mom" quite seriously!

Tristan thinks he is a "mom's boy" all the way. He loves Richard, yes, but let mom step out of his sight in public and he's instantly at attention worrying where I am. I was walking him at a local pet store recently when a mixed breed dog started barking aggressively and baring its teeth at me. Tristan instantly swung himself in front of me and let loose a loud woof to warn the other dog off. When I told him to sit, he promptly sat ... on my feet. He sat as soon as I told him, but he wasn't getting out from between that dog and me while it was a potential threat to his mom!

Tristan is an outstanding example of the Cane Corso breed in every way:
     * Bred from old working lines from the south, and imported to the states.
     * Has strong and correct conformation - consistent to the Italian standard.
     * Drivey, but with a Sound, Stable, Even "Family-Friendly" temperament.
     * A wonderful accepting companion, with a protective/defensive nature if needed
.
